Flower Business Management

How to buy, how to price and how to make money in the floral industry. This workshop is great for someone starting inn the flower business. A mentoring program with Pennsylvania Floral Academy will be provided upon completion

Wedding Flowers Workshop
Classes will be held Sunday, March 12 & Sunday, March 19 *Must attend both
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This 12-hour course covers how to do an effective wedding consultation, to price out a wedding as well as the history and etiquette of these family events. Students will make bridal flowers, including cascades, hand tied, corsages, and boutonnieres as well as ceremony and reception flowers. The latest designs and ideas will be highlighted. Upon competition, a professional Pennsylvania Floral Academy certificate will be achieved.

Funeral Flowers Workshop
Classes will be held Sunday, April 16 & Sunday, April 23 *Must attend both
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This course begins at a local funeral home to discuss and learn the behind-the-scenes mechanics and placement of funeral flowers. Returning to BW Wholesale, students will construct an overhead lid, foot and standing sprays along with matching urns and more. All aspects of sympathy work will be demonstrated and discussed as well as the latest trends and styles. Upon completion of this 12-hour course, a professional Pennsylvania Floral Academy certificate will be achieved.
